1. Gating system:




The gating system refers to the part of the runner before the plastic enters the cavity from the nozzle. The injection mold factory includes the main runner, cold cavity, shunt runner and gate.




2. Formed part system:




The molding part system of an injection mold factory refers to the combination of various parts that constitute the shape of a product, including moving mold, fixed mold, cavity (female mold), core (male mold), molding rod, etc. The core forms the inner surface of the product, and the cavity (female die) forms the outer surface shape of the product. After the mold is closed, the core and cavity form the cavity of the mold. According to the process and manufacturing requirements, sometimes the core and die are combined by several pieces, sometimes the injection mold factory is made into a whole, and only the parts that are easy to damage and difficult to process are inserted.




3. Temperature regulating system:




The temperature regulating system is to meet the requirements of the injection process on the mold temperature. The injection mold factory needs a temperature regulating system to regulate the mold temperature. For the injection mold for thermoplastic, the cooling system is mainly designed to cool the mold (the mold can also be heated). The common method of mold cooling is to set cooling water channel in the mold, and use circulating cooling water to take away the heat of the mold; In addition to using cooling water to pass hot water or hot oil for mold heating, electric heating elements can also be installed inside and around the mold.




4. Exhaust system:




The exhaust system is set up to exhaust the air in the cavity during injection molding and the gas generated by plastic melting to the outside of the mold. When the exhaust is not smooth, the product surface will form air marks (air lines), charring and other defects; The exhaust system of the plastic mold is usually a groove shaped air outlet opened in the mold to exhaust the air in the original cavity and the gas brought in by the molten material.




When molten material is injected into the mold cavity, the air originally stored in the mold cavity and the gas brought in by the melt must be discharged out of the mold through the exhaust port at the end of the material flow, otherwise the product will have pores, poor connection, and insufficient mold filling, and even the accumulated air will cause high temperature due to compression, resulting in the product * * *. In general, the vent hole can be located at the end of the molten material flow in the mold cavity or on the parting surface of the mold.




The latter is to set a shallow groove with a depth of 0.03-0.2mm and a width of 1.5-6mm at one side of the female die. During injection, there will not be a lot of molten materials oozing out of the vent hole, because the molten materials will cool and solidify there and block the channel. The opening position of the exhaust port shall not face the operator to prevent accidental ejection of molten materials from injuring people. In addition, the matching clearance between the ejector rod and the ejector hole, the matching clearance between the ejector block and the template and the core can also be used to exhaust.




5. Guidance system:




The guiding system is set up to ensure that the moving die and the fixed die can be accurately aligned when closing the mold. The guiding parts must be set in the mold. In the injection mold, four groups of guide pillars and guide sleeves are usually used to form the guide parts, and sometimes it is necessary to set the inner and outer conical surfaces that coincide with each other in the moving mold and the fixed mold to assist * * *.




6. Ejection system:




Ejection system generally consists of ejector pin, front and rear ejector pin plates, ejector pin guide rod, ejector pin return spring, ejector pin plate locking screw, etc. When the product is molded and cooled in the mold, the front and rear molds of the mold are separated and opened, and the plastic product and its condensate in the runner are pushed or pulled out of the mold cavity and runner position by the ejector mechanism - ejector pin under the push of the ejector pin of the injection molding machine, so as to carry out the next injection molding work cycle.
