Plastic mold It is composed of moving mold and fixed mold. The moving mold is installed on the moving template of the injection molding machine, and the fixed mold is installed on the fixed template of the injection molding machine. During injection molding, the moving mold and the fixed mold are closed to form a gating system and a cavity. When opening the mold, the moving mold and the fixed mold are separated to take out the plastic products.

Although the structure of plastic mold may vary due to the variety and performance of plastic, the shape and structure of plastic products, and the type of injection machine, the basic structure is the same.

According to the function, the plastic mold is mainly composed of: gating system, temperature regulating system, molding parts system, exhaust system, guiding system, ejection system, etc. Among them, the gating system and molding parts are the parts that are in direct contact with the plastic and change with the plastic and products. They are the parts of the plastic mold that are very complex and change greatly and require high processing finish and precision.  

According to the structure, the plastic mold is generally composed of mold base, mold core, auxiliary parts, auxiliary system, auxiliary setting, dead angle processing mechanism and other parts.    

A general plastic mold injection machine mainly includes injection device, mold closing device, hydraulic transmission system and electrical control system. The main function of the injection device is to evenly plasticize the plastic and inject a certain amount of molten material into the cavity of the mold with sufficient pressure and speed. The injection device is mainly composed of plasticizing parts (composed of screw, barrel and nozzle), hopper, transmission device, metering device, injection and moving oil cylinder, etc.
